More than ice cream.
A movement.
Founded by Devan Minouei, Scoop Dreams started as a soft-serve truck in Vacaville, CA and grew into a community-driven brand serving Solano and Yolo Counties. It was built on a lifelong belief that dreams are meant to be shared, built together, and poured back into the community that raised you.
Devan's hustle started early. At 13, he and his brother Darian co-founded DBros Candy, a school-side hustle that funded their first vehicle, a 2003 Ford Ranger. That same truck powered DBros Landscaping, where they ran fire-break prevention on Mount Vaca before wildfire awareness went mainstream.
Basketball shaped what followed. A late bloomer, Devan earned his starting guard spot at Yuba College. Training under Mark Jeffries of God Given Talent (GGT) Basketball, he saw how access defines a young athlete's path. He began training youth himself, coaching athletes from local kids to NBA professionals. That philosophy became the backbone of Scoop Dreams: creating opportunity where it doesn't naturally exist.
Today the truck operates weekly across multiple cities, but its impact goes further. Youth sports sponsorships, community events, and the First Annual Scoop Dreams 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament are all part of the mission. The brand's creative identity came from the same circle that raised Devan. Former teammates and lifelong friends formed No Joke, a creative collective out of Solano County AAU, and together they produced Scoop Dreams: No Bad Dreams, a short film capturing the brand's spirit: authentic, unpolished, and real.
“We're building together, but we're staying rooted in where we came from.”
